A Message For President Aquino

Hon. President Aquino,

Serving and leading millions of people seems to be the toughest and most sophisticated task here on earth. But then, you stand firm not to only to pursue the legacy of the late President Benigno Aquino and Corazon Aquino or to face the anomalies of the past administration and the struggles of tomorrow, but also you sat in the position to defy your advocacy, "KUNG WALANG KURAP, WALANG MAHIRAP". I, in behalf of the millions you are handling, congratulates you.

By just imagining our thickly-populated nation, I could sense the load you carry for the rest of your term. there's a tickle of admiration I've felt knowing you accepted the responsibility. then suddenly, cobwebs began to fill out my mind. of all the people, why did you choose to lead millions of people like this nation? Why don't you have instead your own family? Why did you run for the presidency? Is it just because your parents were both presidents before? Or, it is maybe because of money? Why didn't you take any profession other than politics? Did you like the work you are in? How does it feel to rule over a country? Have you ever think to quit? Is it a happy place there? Are you satisfied with what you are now? And so on. . .

Of course being in the government service, the highlights would be your PROGRAMS. The programs that the Filipino people believe will bring change to every imperfections in this nation. I felt some of these things. So let me extend my sincerest gratitude to you. I'm so please that our barangay was included in the destinations of your plans. I thought you are only focusing there in Metro Manila. But you listened to our cries and you came to give us salvation. Thank you very much!

How about your other projects? I know you had so many stated in your SONA when you were inaugurated. where are they? When would you implement them?

We are always at your back Mr. President. The promise between you and I to travel towards the right path was instilled in us. Please continue to wave the banner of peace, democracy, and progress.

More power and God Bless! :)

                                                                                                                                 Concerned Citizen,

                                                                                                                                    Claire Quilana
